Carrot And Pineapple Juice

What I love most about this carrot and pineapple juice recipe is that it is simple and the juice it tastes so good.

The added ginger and lime juice take the flavour to another level.

In the hot weather, this refreshing juice is a great way to cool down, and also has many essential nutrients that the body needs.

Health Benefits

Pineapple, carrot, ginger and lime all have many health benefits.

Pineapple is rich in vitamin C, which helps to boot the immune system and prevent cold and flu.

Carrot is rich in fibre, protein and a good source for vitamin A which prompts good vision.

The anti-inflammatory properties in ginger help to fight free radicals in the body.

Lime is also a great source for vitamin C, a nutrient that may help boost your immune system.

What You Need

This juice is so easy to make, all you need is pineapple, carrot, ginger, lime and sugar.

I used all fresh ingredients. I would not recommend using frozen carrot but frozen or canned pineapple is ok to use.

How To Make Carrot Pineapple Juice

All I did was add all the ingredients to a blender and blend. But you could use a juicer instead.

You will need more carrot and pineapple if you use a juicer to get the same amount a juice because you wouldn’t add water.

Step 1. Peel and chop the pineapple, carrot and ginger.

Step 2. Add all the ingredient with enough water. Blend until smooth.

Step 3. Strain into a container, add lime juice then sweeten to taste. Serve cold.

Keep refrigerated and consume with a few days. Carrot Pineapple Juice is at its best the first couple of days after it is made.

I recommend consuming the juice with four days after you make it.

Needed something quick and healthy to drink!! My picky teenagers asked that I keep in rotation- it’s a hit in my house. I substitute honey for the sugar..
