Instructions
Peel the plantain and slice into to pieces that are about ½ a inch thick.
Add the oil to a frying pan and heat on medium to low fire.
Add the plantain to the oil and fry for 3 to 5 minutes depending on how hot the old is. Always keep a eye o the plantain because they burn easily.
Notes
If the plantain is too ripe, it will absorb a lot more oil when fried.
Place the fried plantain on kitchen paper towel after frying to remove some of the oil before eating.
