Jamaican Beetroot Juice Recipe
Try beetroot juice with or without milk. Both taste great either way!

With Milk
- 280 g Beetroot peeled and chopped in 4
- ½ cup Condensed milk or to your taste
- ⅛ tsp Nutmeg
- ¾ tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 Cups Water
Without Milk
- 526 g Beetroot peeled and chopped in 4
- 5 tbsp Lime juice
- 20 g Ginger may or may not peel
- 90 g Sugar to sweeten
- 3 Cups Water
With Milk
Wash and peel each beetroot. Chop into smaller pieces, add to the blender along with the water and blend.
Stain using a sieve or a cheesecloth.
Add the nutmeg and vanilla extract.
Sweeten to taste with condensed milk and put to chilli. Best serve cold
Without Milk
Wash and peel each beetroot. Chop into smaller pieces, add to the blender along with the ginger and water and blend.
Strain into a container, add the lime juice and sweeten to taste with the sugar.
Serve cold.
- The beetroot recipe with milk serves three 10 oz glasses. The recipe without milk, serves four 10 oz glasses.
- You can also use a juicer, which is much easier and more tidier
